Like most people I think I’ve got a love/hate relationship with the gym, I love that feeling after a good work out and it definitely helps me mentally, just being able to clear your head and focus on what set you’re doing is refreshing, not to mention I feel amazing when I can see results. The hate part comes from feeling guilty when I haven’t been for a week or if I’ve been overdoing it with the treats … which I definitely do! As much as I do enjoy the gym I sometimes think to myself “Damn, I’m gonna have to do this pretty much all my life to make sure I’m kinda happy with my body” and then my mind swirls into things like how am I going to get my body back after having kids some day but that’s just an example of how dramatic I can be at times.
Anyway, for a while now I’ve wanted to invest in some quality gym clothes from actual work out brands instead of wearing my same old Primark or Vietnam spesh ones … if you know me you know what I mean! So for my birthday this year my wonderful boyfriend surprised me with some different items that honestly I’m in love with, I truly feel ten times more confident in the gym when I’m wearing these new pieces, it’s so crazy how you can tell the difference in quality straight away, I don’t know if I’ll be able to go back to high street store bits, this might be an expensive do. So I thought I would show you guys my new lil pieces and I will put links in as always …
So I’m sure you’ve all heard of the site that’s on almost everyone’s lips called OnlyFans? If you haven’t let me just fill you in, so basically the site describes itself as a way for content creators to interact with their followers who are willing to pay a bit of dolla for their posts/videos etc. Now on the OnlyFans site it says that anyone can join and post things like tutorials, selfies and anything else along those lines, however what it’s become notorious for is women and men uploading “nudes” and sort of explicit content to earn some coin when they get subscribers … are you still following?
Okay, okay I know … how many more blog posts can you drag this out for Carolanne, but I promise this is definitely the last one! I’m hoping you guys have enjoyed hearing all about my trip though because I’ve absolutely loved writing all about it and hopefully will have gave some tips or recommendations if you’re thinking about going in the future.
Welcome back to my little series where I’m telling you wonderful lot all about my boyfriend and I’s trip to Thailand back in November 2019, if you haven’t read part one already I’ll link it in this sentence.
I promised myself I wouldn’t ramble on so I’m just gonna get straight into it and hopefully not bore you all to death, so here we go.
Well hello there, you guys may not remember me because I’ve been fucking AWOL for the past six or seven months but here I am and honestly, I hope I’ll continue to write on here again but hey my past record shows otherwise!
So I would love to start this post like many of the new year ones I’ve seen and tell you how excited I am for another year, give you all of my resolutions and dreams but truthfully, this isn’t going to be one of those I’m afraid, so if you’re not hear for a pity party then you should probably leave! No I’m totally joking I’m not about all that woe is me but I am just going to tell you all how I’m feeling right now.
From about the age of 13/14 i’ve straightened my hair, it started off with just my fringe … cool I know and then I wanted my entire wig to be sleek and straight. My natural hair is curly and I don’t mean like waves here and there, I mean full on original, ginger Annie curls … if you know, you know!
I literally HATED my hair, the amount of times i’ve looked at another girls hair and wished I had hair like theirs is unmeasurable, believe me, hair envy is real. I remember being little and grown ups would be like “you have such beautiful hair” and “look at those curls” but all I wanted was to have straight hair. I got my mam to straighten it with the iron when I was about 16, yes the iron, i’m old now okay this was ten years ago.
Let me start off by saying Happy New Year everyone, I hope you all had the most wonderful time and of course a magical Christmas!
If you follow me on my Instagram or Twitter then you’ll know back in November myself and my wonderful boyfriend Martin spent three weeks travelling Vietnam which was honestly THE most incredible thing i’ve ever done and I long to go back every single day.
So what I wanted to do was give you guys a lil breakdown of our adventures and share some of our experiences and recommendations just incase some of you are thinking of going to Vietnam any time soon or in the future which I strongly recommend.
I think i’m gonna break our trip down into three blog posts just because we did so much and I don’t want to keep you here for ages reading through my babble so here’s part one below.
Hey everyone, so I thought this week’s post would just be a little chatty one letting you all know where I am right now in life and what’s been going on since my last update post in July … I know, I can’t believe it’s been three months, where has the year gone?
I love doing these type of chats with you guys, mainly because I don’t have to think that hard but also because I love reading these kind of posts from other bloggers and find them rather therapeutic, is that weird?
