If you’re from the UK then I’m pretty sure you’re familiar with a shop called Home Bargains, if you’re from anywhere else then I’ll give you a little summery, it’s basically heaven … no I’m joking but it is an amazing shop that sells literally everything you can think of at super cheap prices, their face mask range is amazing.
Anyway, recently I was doing a little shop there and was browsing their make up shelves when I came across a face palette, I’ve tried a few of the lip liners and lip sticks which have been great so thought I’d give it a go. The packaging look similar to a Makeup Revolution one, pretty simple and sleek with the bronze writing and the inside had everything you could think of for your face, blush, highlight, bronzer and powder, so you best believe I popped it in my basket, plus it was like £2 or something along those lines. Don’t get me wrong I don’t expect crazy pigment or durability from it but you never know these days, those cheap brands are really showing off.
With Valentines Day just around the corner I thought I would try and give you guys and gals some make up inspiration. Now you don’t have to be going out with your SO to dress up on Friday the 14th, whether you’re out with your friends, family or just wanna rock a different vibe all together, this look will hopefully serve you well. Let me know if you like it and if you’ve created any Valentines looks then make sure you share them with me on here.
I’m probably one of the last people to try the Maybeline Fit Me Range, i’ve heard so many people talking about at least one of the products at some point and honestly I don’t really have an answer as to why it’s taken me so long soooo, my bad I guess. Better late than never I suppose and of course I wanted to share with you my thoughts on the products I bought so lets just jump right into it.
When it comes to makeup I am all about making sure my foundation is flawless, i’m a strong believer that your base makeup either makes or breaks the end result because if that foundations not right, you can bet your bottom dolla that everything else is gonna go tits up … in my experience anyway.
I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again for you people in the back, foundation is the one makeup product that I don’t mind splurging on and spending a little extra because when it looks good I just feel so much more confident, and in the words of my girl Demi Lovato, ‘what’s wrong with being confident?’
Hello again you gorgeous bunch, so today we’re gonna be talking about the foundation that’s on everyones lips and of course it’s the Primark P.S My Perfect Colour Foundation. If you haven’t heard of the foundation and you live in the UK then, where have you been people, seriously?! If you’re not from the UK and don’t have a Primark store then i’m super sorry because you’re probably like ‘what on earth are you talking about Carolanne?’ Just out of curiosity though i’d love to know how many of you arn’t from the UK but actually do know what Primark is or have a shop where you live … let me know in the comments.
One of my favourite things to read on blogs and watch on Youtube are people’s ‘everyday make up looks’ first and for most because I have a sick obsession with seeing how other people apply their make up and what looks they go for which results in me wallowing because I wish I had all their products and their skill putting it on. Anyway I thought I would share with y’all what I use in my very own everyday make up look.
For the past few years my staple foundation has been the Estee Lauder Double Wear, I
just adore this product, it’s coverage is amazing and we’ve been through everything together, birthdays, christmas, spontaneous nights out, you name it. But like Ross and Rachel we’ve decided to go on a break and I now have a new fav foundation.
